O předmětu

The students is expected to obtain skills needed to carrying out an individual project integrating their knowledge of the theories, models and teaching approaches from courses of the master programme with practical implications. Students are recommended to work on case studies, analyse and reflect on various topics on finance and accounting, and develop analytical, creative and implementation skills. The course provides students with the methodology necessary for the conceptual and formal completion of project. During the semester, students will improve their presentation skills and will be able to defend their ideas.

Co se naučíš

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to: - work with the relevant research and specialist literature; - structure the special economic text; - apply the theories, models and teaching approaches obtained in other courses of the master programme; - present project on selected research topic; - critically review other projects.

Obsah předmětu

1. Selection of a topic that allows applying theories, models and teaching approaches, which students learned in the master programme 2. Choice of the project’s aim and selection of adequate methods for its procession. 3. Discussion about the project plan. 4. Selection and work with relevant literature. 5. Applying the rules for citations, listing literature and other sources. 6. Formal requisites of the project. 7. Individual presentation of the project by all students and its discussion. 8. Review of part of another student's project. 9. Critical assessment of the project.
